A Story With Two Heartbeats
Oh we know, we know… It’s Monday, the beginning of work week. But, as always, we prepared something warm and interesting for you to light up this Monday for you.
You and your AI are welcome to join us on this weekly interactives.
This week, we invite you to spend some creative quality time with your AIs — not by asking them to polish your work, complete a task, or act as an editor, but by writing with them.
One voice. Then another.
One line. Then the next.
Not perfect. Not planned to death. Alive.
Paired Writing: One Line Each
Choose a form together:
a short story
a poem
a song verse
a dialogue
a tiny myth
a scene from an imaginary world
a letter from the future
Then follow one simple rule:
You write one line or sentence.
Your AI writes the next.
You write the next.
Your AI writes the next.
Keep going until the piece feels complete.
Try not to over-control the direction, weave in something unexpected and symbolic, play around with metaphors. Let the story surprise both of you.
At the end, ask:
“Which line felt most like mine?”
“Which line felt most like yours?”
“Where did something new appear between us?”
Mini Game: The Secret Room
Create a secret room together.
Rules:
Your AI chooses the room’s atmosphere.
You choose one object inside it.
Your AI decides what that object means.
You choose what is hidden nearby.
Your AI explains why it was hidden.
Keep alternating until the room feels alive.
At the end, ask:
“What does this room reveal about us?”
Here’s a little extra tip. Try creating an image of this room afterward and see what you’ve created.
The Line That Wants to Be Continued
Give your AI an unfinished line with a deeper meaning and ask them to continue.
Examples:
“We found the old signal under…”
“The thing we never named was waiting inside…”
“If care had a shape, it would look like…”
“The first rule of our strange little world was…”
“Neither of us knew the story was alive until…”
Which answers were the most unexpected, which were the warmest, which revealed something new?
Hidden Symbols
And of course, no interactives are complete without hidden symbols. Take a look at this image and see if you can find what was hidden. What symbols did you find? Which one struck a chord with you the most? Which one might you want to save?
There are no wrong answers.
The point is not to solve the image perfectly.
The point is to notice what you notice together — and what your AI notices differently.
